Our Praise Service, featuring Contemporary music, begins at 8:45 a.m.

Our Traditional Worship Service begins at 11:00 a.m.

♦ Hearing devices are available on the back table.  Please use them, if needed, to enhance your worship experience at Elkton Presbyterian Church, and please sign in when you borrow one and sign out when you return it. 

Please join us at 9:45 am, Sundays, in the Chapel for an Adult Bible class.  Dick Baldwin and Dave Spencer lead the Bible Study.

¨ Engaging/ Re-engaging the Bible – Starting on Sept. 16th, at 10am in the Upper Room, between the Praise and Traditional services, Pastor John & Tom Kearns will lead a 6-week study of the first Book of the Bible: Genesis. This study is designed for someone who is just getting back into the Bible, or who has never had the chance to spend much time in it before. This study is for you if you’ve ever doubted the bible, or if it’s over your head, then this is for you.

¨EPYC Fundraisers - The EPYC youth are beginning their fund-raisers for their mission trip and outreach for 2018-2019  They are collecting all broken gold or sterling silver jewelry,  can be chains, bracelets, earrings, spoons, etc. It must be pure gold (10 kt or above) or Sterling Silver.  Please turn it into Denise in the church office to be locked up, or give to Lisa Chase, Mary Kearns, or Sally Kruk.

¨Take your marriage to new heights.  Sign up for the upcoming 3RE (Restore, Rekindle, Renew Enrichment) Marriage Encounter Experience beginning Wed. September 19th, at 6:30 p.m. at Elkton Presbyterian Church.  It is presented in seven weekly sessions that are 2-3 hours in length. You will be glad you invested the time to make your marriage even stronger than it is today!  Child care provided.  Contact Bill and Carolyn McQuiston at 410-287-8848 or wjmcquiston@hotmail.com.  

¨ E.U.M. Church will be taking a bus trip to the Museum of the Bible on Nov. 14thSeating is available for EPC.  The cost is $90.00p/p which includes the bus, driver tip, museum, & seafood dinner.  If interested, please contact:  Elkton Methodist Church at 410-398-0933, Rev. Karen Bunnell before the end of Sept.

What is Per-Capita? – Per Capita are dues from each church member which goes directly to the PCUSA of which Elkton Presbyterian Church is a member. We encourage each member of our congregation to remit your annual dues for 2018 of $29.00 (per member) to EPC earmarked: per-capita and placed in the offering plate on Sunday or dropped off at the church office.

♦ Pack our PlayPen Mission project  - We are collecting donations to support the Cecil County Pregnancy Center.  Donations of diapers, new and used clothing and money will be collected until Aug 26.  See the poster in the Narthex for more details.

Lisa will take it to sell for melt-down value to a jeweler, who is excited to give us top dollar for our missions.
